Integra Legal is delighted to announce that Mike Butler has joined us as a Consultant Solicitor.
Mike is a well known and respected employment lawyer practising in the Midlands for many years. He has a wealth of experience advising clients ranging from small partnerships to large companies and plcs with over 100,000 employees. He represents clients throughout the UK on all aspects of employment law.
Mike has been a part-time Employment Judge since 1995 and is an accredited mediator.
Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 have commented that Mike is “respected by peers”, “approachable and user-friendly”, “has a reputation for saying it how it is” and “doesn’t panic in tricky situations”.
Mike’s experience includes:
- Representation in employment tribunals defending unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and discrimination claims
- Advising on complex TUPE situations, restructuring and redundancy exercises
- Termination of employment of senior executives
- Settlement agreements
- Restrictive covenants
- Gangmaster licensing
In his spare time, Mike is a lifelong Wolverhampton Wanderers supporter (someone has to be!!), a keen boxing fan (he once met Mike Tyson) and enjoys vodka tasting.
